Organizations make mistakes. All organizations will at some
point. And as a result they may have a lawsuit on their hands. A lawsuit that
could really harm their representation. How should organizations be punished
when they make this mistakes? Should they be required to pay money? What if the
mistakes that they make help the people that they directly impact? What happens
then? In the agreement with S7 Airlines lines were crossed and an agreement was
broken. The Ok Go video was released to the public on YouTube before it was
supposed to. However the band did not press changes because it did not damage
their representation or hurt their popularity. Does this mean that the
organization made less of a mistake? Is it not a problem if it wasn’t a problem
or the band? I think it is just as much of a problem. S7 Airlines broke their
agreement and whether or not it hurt Ok go does not change that what they did
was wrong. This shows how it can be dangerous when two organizations compete
against each other. Both companies wanted to be the one to share the video that
they knew would be popular. This kind of competition can be problematic for the
people or companies that are being represented. When competition causes
companies to break rules in order to stay ahead, you know that you have a problem.
If companies collaborated instead working against each other it would be better
for the clients that they are representing. Collaboration could help their
clients to receive more followers and in tandem earn more revenue.

I love that you brought up that the release of their video on YouTube didn't damage their popularity or reputation. Great post!
